stiff gas pedal

my gas pedal is quite stiff, does anyone else have this problem?

can I adjust it so that it is not as stiff? if so, how can I do this?

Did you check if there is anything like carpet stuck behind the pedal?

I had this problem on my 2002 Saber (TL) here in Japan.
I thought that something wrong with my throttle linkage, but my dealer replaced throttle body under warranty.
After then, my throttle is very smooth.
