Sticky gas pedal... Help!

My gas pedal sticks when you first press on it. Sometimes it sticks more than other times, but it seems to always be there. It is an 03 tl-s with 17,000 miles. 90% of my driving is freeways with little traffic most of the time. What is causing this?

Exactly. I work at a Honda dealership and am more than positive that it's more than like just a dirty throttle body. Just go to Pep Boys or your local automotive store and purchase some throttle body cleaner. Spray it in the throttle body valves and pull on the throttle lines to rotate the valves and make sure you try to get both side. Then take a brillo pad and scrub around the opening of the trottle body. Then start your car and rev it up for about a minute. Reconnect your intake and you should be good at that point.

open the hood, locate the intake, see where that black hose from the intake connects to the engine...yeah, thats the throttle body. All you gotta do is unscrew that circular thing, pull the black big black hose (intake to motor connection) and spray/clean everything in there...

just DONT GET WATER thru there otherwise you'll F*up the engine when you turn it on

Make sure you get some good stuff to clean the throttle body with. I suggest using what the dealer uses. It shouldn't cost too much for some throttle body cleaner.
