Question SRS light

SRS light came on today and stays on all the time on my 2kTL. Going to call dealer on Monday.
Any idea what could be the problem ? Airbag needs replacement or something ??

It could be a bad crash sensor behind the bumper, it could be a seat sensor, or some kind of wiring issue. That god for warranty!

Got my car fixed today. The problem was faulty seatbelt buckle which was replaced.
Also got my squeaky sunroof fixed (tape applied around the roof openning) and smearing wipers (washer tubing and wipers replaced)

The SRS light came on and stayed on in my 2000 this morning.

Kirill, how long did it take them to fix it. Did they provide you with a courtesy car?

SRS Light

I just had my SRS light reset by Downtown Acura. The light came on suddenly; without there having been a collision or electrical mod. I was told that the problem was a faulty driver's seatbelt buckle. Although the light is now off, I wonder when the passenger's seat belt buckle will fail?

this isn't good. I bet those sensors are a lot for us who are out of warranty!

I left the car for 1.5 day, was no rush for me, and I got 2003 1.7EL to play with.

There was SEAT BELT buckle recall long time ago. I had mine replaced more than an year ago.

Side air bag light comes on frequently. Make sure not to lean against the seat(it'll go off pretty soon).
