The sunroof tracks are well greased. I use the sunroof all the time so it gets good use. I make sure it slides easy. The rubber around it is dry and rubbing the metal making the creeking noise. I figured it out today, while I was washing it.

You might try spraying a little silicone lubricant on the rubber gasket. It's not harmful to the rubber and it will get rid of your creaking noise.

Or is it just me??

^ I thought this problem was coming from the sunroof also but I still hear the creaking while the sun roof is open. I cant quite pinpoint the problem, anyone have any experience with this?

If you are having the creeking noise from your sunroof here is a simple fix. Next time you detail your car, open the sunroof and wipe the rubber surround with a Armor All wipe. It doesn't look dirty, but watch all the dirt come off on the cloth. The rubber gets dried out and it doesn't slide against the metal, causing the creeking. Did it two weeks ago, and it hasn't creeked since.

lol was about to make a thread about this.

my passenger side seat squeaks when turning. my friend gave me an awkward look when he heard for first time but luckily didn't say my audi doesn't do that. even worst is my sunroof. it makes mad loud creaking sounds...kind of like a cricket does lol. the sunroof is so loud specially on bumpy roads that i can hear it over my loud music.
