Squeaking from AEM CAI...
do any of you guys with AEM CAI notice some squeaking from the engine compartment on bumpy roads??? I know for a fact that all my connections are secure because I have checked it like 3-4 times... Maybe its my cracked windshield...i have a 2 foot crack on my windshield, I just cant seem to find the source of the squeak from inside the engine compartment...It's also not the steel bar that attaches from the side of the panel to the bottom steel frame which the resonator and filter whole is(which allows the AEM CAI to go under where the bumper is) because I tightened that bolt to hold it down...Any suggestions???
BTW, does your AEM CAI have a high whistle when you tap your gas pedal real lightly???

Mine squeaked a little bit at first... turned out the back of the lower pipe was hitting the sheetmetal where is passes through the hole that led to the resonator area. I put a small piece of cloth behind it so it wouldn't rub and it went away.
Also, my AEM does sometimes whistle but it's not really loud or offensive (to my ears) so it doesn't bother me at all.

along with that loud honing sound that i hear when accelerating over 3000 rpms, i hear a high pitch squeal sometimes, and it sound likes there some sort of misconnection somewhere on the intake, i checked and tighten all the connections, i have no idea,
anyoone have an idea? may be normal?

i have noticed that too. i just assumed it was where the lower pipe was hitting the metal because there are scratches on my pipe in that area.

when my car is cold i barely press the gas and I hear a very loud whistle as if the car is sucking in massive amounts of air. It is very wierd. After about 5 mins of driving that sound goes away. Also when Im driving on the freeway, if I let go of the throttle and then press it again instantly I hear a loud whistle ( as if I have a blow off valve =) hehehehehe) My friend tells me its pretty loud and intimidating when hes driving next to me with his windows down.

I have a Xephyr CAI and I hear the same squeeking since I installed it.
But everything is secure... and I cant make it squeek against anything if i try by hand.
Dunno wtf is goin on.
Maybe the Bypass Valve makes noise?
