Speedo/RPM Gauge clear plastic cover
Anybody know if you can buy the clear plastic cover that goes over the gauges?
Mine is scratched up. I've tried everything to take out the hairline scratches.
Is this like the Nav screen where the 2000 screen is better plastic that doesn't scratch? I thought I remembered that the 1999 Nav screen had problems with scratching and that they fixed it for 2000. Same with gauge cover?

I'm not sure if they fixed the prone scratch problem but they addressed the finger print problem.
Call your dealer, or ask Tim if he sells it. If not check out A&H Motor and tell what you need and see if they can get it for you.

You can get that piece - but Meguiar's makes a clear plastic restorer for detailers that removes all the fine lines & scratches. Comes in a small white bottle - check their website for the exact name and description.

I've tried them all. Even Griot's plastic polish. Expensive stuff. I'm gonna just order a new one. I think they're like $12. I may put a piece of Expel on it before I install.

Neil- who's your info source? Part number is 78170-S0K-A01 fits 99-02 TL, CL NAV and Non Nav. List price $16.98 plus tax and shipping.
