Paul,

Thanks for being there to answer all my question's. You are definitley an ASSET to this community , keep up the good work.

I recieved the Navi Flash Card Wed. I put it in my 1999 TL and it worked like a charm.

If you have any questions or are in need of a new disk, get ahold of Paul.

Thanks all for the thumps up. I've really enjoyed working with so many owners. Since my original 1999 navi disk drive never complained, I'm still so surprised to find how many 96-99 RL's and 1999 TL's are out there with failing disk drives. People are putting up with disk error messages and can't afford what the dealer wants to fix it. So I'm happy to help them find alternatives and also get some beer money in exchange for the time spent. One of my happiest accomplishments was my first drive across country and popping in a replacement compact flash drive at the Mississippi welcome center to explore the next region.

Many more thanks goes to the owners that have shared their region files, the acura dealer that let me bring my notebook computer into the service bay while we programmed 7 regions a disk at a time, to Jeff that hopes to find the way to upgrade the 99 unit to read DVD, and Noah that figured out which RL files to merge with our TL files.

The latest news is I've swapped my 1999 disk unit for a 2000 dvd unit and bought the 2.11c update. Damn nice but cost a bit, $420 for salvage unit, $202 for the disc.

No I'm not that "Paul Mooney", he's a bit darker than me, a lot more funny, probably doesn't own an Acura, or if he did it would be a bit more bling, but nice guy, I met him once in LA back in the late 70's. I also get misdirected emailed fan letters for him every once in a while. For those that don't know he's comedian that's been around a long time, I believe his early work was as a writer on Sanford and Son. So all hail that Paul Mooney.
