Something weird happened yesterday.
I had just wiped down my car that had been sitting in my cool garage yesterday which was 88 degrees out in Chicago yesterday. Anyways, I tried to start up my car and when I did, it sort-of stalled and made like a "brump, brump" and my car didn't even start! It was weird...I know for a fact now that something is definitely wrong w/my car. Anyone have any ideas?

It does that quite a bit for me aswell. You dont happen to use bp gas do you? Someone told me it might be because I had gotten bp gas. evidently tey dilute their gas or something.I dont know why it does that . It did the same thing in my 98 accord v6 coupe.

I have read that it may be due to a problem called "hot soaking?" and it is not specific to the TL. I will explain, but I'm not entirely sure I'm completely accurate.
It seems as though winter blended fuels either don't vaporize as well or have some sort of igniting problem when the weather is warm and you're trying to start a hot car. Since the switch over from winter to summer blended fuels is in progress, there is still quite a bit of winter fuel in the "system" (i.e.refineries and gas station tanks).
Normally this isn't an issue because the weather up north doesn't get this warm this quickly.

I dunno. If your car is still under warranty, you could go in, but if you want to save the trip you could wait. The weather is supposed to cool off within the next couple of days. That and I'd go through a few more tanks of gas first. If is still happens, I'd definitely go in.
Good Luck!
