Dag man, sorry. I'm feeling the same pain. I got keyed this weekend too. Mine isn't so long, only about 6 inches, but it covered the same 2 doors. Worse part is, my car is only 5 weeks old.

How much is it going to cost you? A friend used Zaino and helped me make it less noticable. But I think I'll have to go to the shop still.

i talked to my collision shop guy and he told me for him to make it come out great he is going to have to repaint the hood and passenger side about $2k

Sorry to hear that dude. Are those scratch deep? If they are not that deep, you can use the touch-up paint and wet sand it. Or get the Lugana or whatever that is called. Sorry don't have the link to their site at handy...

Oh and 2K is a bit much even you have to do 3 different pieces...

That really sucks. Won't insurance cover it? There have been plenty of people i've been mad at, REALLY mad but I never thought about damaging their car. Them maybe, but not a defensless object.

i had my key marks fixed for $500 over two doors and the rear fender...looks perfect...you can get a new paint job for $2k...

you know it never fails to amaze me at the supid as* people who have no respect for peoples possesions, my entire passenger side and hood were keyed this weekend, my car is going into the shop on the 12th and hopefully get it back in a week or two!!

oh come on. I use the word gay all the time. I use it in place of "stupid" or "whack" and whatnot. I say, this movie is gay, or that ricer's car is gay. And yes, at times if my friend is doing something stupid, I say, "dude, youre gay." I dont know how old you are, but RedHot and I are still in our teens. let me tell you something, if i find out who did it."forget about it, huh" , but i can only be too lucky, and yes the scratches are really deep, it will be covered under my insurance , so i told the collision shop to strip the panels down and repaint them, whatever it takes to get my baby back to normal!! price is no object when it comes to my tl!

Here's a few tips to prevent your car from getting keyed or scratched by careless people.

1. If you piss off some dude just as you are getting out of your car, move your car or you might be surprise to come back out and there's a scratch.

2. If someone is trying to get a parking space and you are too, don't try to piss him off by stealing it from him. Find yourself a different parking space. (then come back and key his car hehehe j/k) Preferably far from other cars. I'm not lazy, I don't mind walking far.

3. Never ever, try to park your car using 2 parking space. People really get pissed off when you are taking 2 parking space and they can't find one.

4. Try not to park near old cars, they don't care about their car like you do.

got my car keyed when my car was about 3 weeks old. i was soo pissed, cause i knew it was my ex-girlfriend who did it but I can't prove it, other than what i saw. Oh well cost me about 1200 to repaint the front left fender all the way to the gas tank latch. it was deep as shit so i couldn't cover it up. oh well what can we do, people hate us for the cars we got

damn that sucks dood i feel ur pain on this one, since i went thru the same thing too. i juss had my car silver satin 02 TL-P FOR ONLY 2 weeks when this dumb shit happens. funny thing too cuz i was parked in a small parking lot while i was attending my friend's funeral, but anyways i juss think thats a really dirty thing to do. Especially keyin someone's car at a damn depressing funeral WOW! i still can't even believe to this day, but i learned to cope wit the long lines all across my back right panel after many months. i hope u get that fixd soon, best wishes on your TL.
