Angry SOme low life stole my valve stem covers...

Hey, it's not headlights, and I wasn't going to even post this, but I still feel pissed off that some scum would stoop down and take the chrome valve stem covers off my tires. NTB put them on when I got my Pilot A/S tires, and I thought that was a class touch by them. Then today, I notice that all 4 are gone. They aren't worth much, and it's not a big deal, but still.........

The more I thought about it, the more pissed I got. I can't imagine what it feels like when they take the lights, or even the whole car!

UGH!

Why can't these losers just leave our cars alone.....???

Whenever I changed my wheels or tires, I always specified to use steel valve stems and steel valve covers. However, the steel valve covers always got stolen. It happened so many times that I got fed up and used rubber valve covers instead.

It's a conspiracy against steel valve covers! I bet you the rubber valve cover factory workers are behind all this mess!!!!

Maybe someone came by and scared them off, or maybe they lost one of mine and needed a replacement!

I was not aware that this problem was so wide spread. Are these people cheap? These things can't be that expensive!

I HATE it when people f*ck with other peoples cars...

chill out guys

It's just kids. Face it your chrome valve stems/caps will always be stolen at some time or another, you can't stop it. That is unless you finally just get the ugly black plastic caps then you got nothing to worry about.

It's just a fact of life, kids steal small, dumb stuff. get over it...

the other alternative is to use caps with locks. they cost about $40 and need a key to be taken off, otherwise they just keep turning and turning. its kinda cool. but ye, kids will take them off, almost happened to my friend in front of my house, while we were standing there looking, a little kid started taking them off

Angry I just wish that one of us catches someone in the act.

I would love someone to post catching someone stealing their valve covers. I had mine jacked at the damn movie theater and I am still checking out other cars looking for them. It is not a money issue, its the damn principle of the thing. Why? Kids or not, its still wrong.

Yeah, I had the Acura logo valve stem covers and they were stolen ($15). They also stole the Toyota ones off of my wife's Land Cruiser.

hahaha... that's really crappy of them... :I'm sorry but I thought it was funny that someone would ACTUALLY steal something so petty... it's kind of like children stealing emblems off of cars...

Lightbulb

I've had Tire Minders on my car for about a month now and still have them! FYI Tire Minders are great. They show you if your tire pressure is low or spot on. You need to get the exact pressure you need for them to be accurate. I only found 30lb at Pep Boys so I wound up buying direct from the company. They are $20 for a set of 4, delivered. If you buy more than one set the additional sets are $10 each so buy them by a group if you're interested. Sorry to sound like an ad but I think these things are great! As long as they don't get stolen!!

Sorry to say that but to me, putting chrome valve cover is just like it is written on your wheels "Look people, I have chrome valve on my rims, PLEASE TAKE THEM!!"

Although it looks good but it's kinda obvious...

Interesting. I had chrome valve stems and covers for years on my Legend. No one ever touched them!

I'm keeping the ugly black caps--nobody notices them, so nobody steals 'em...
