Solution for Trunk rattling

For all those who have the mysterious trunk rattling noise, I finally found the problem, it was the two rubber stoppers on the trunk lid, they were tightened all the way which gave a gap between the trunk lid and body. I found out that these two stoppers can actually be adjusted. You'll need to partially unscrew these stoppers so that gives less room between the trunk lid and the car body. This should fix it.

Thumbs up

Good job! Question: How were you able to pinpoint where your rattle was coming from? I need to learn how to isolate them so I can start getting rid of them!

Are you talking about a rattle when you close you're trunk and are on some rough grinded road? Or are you talking about the rattle from the stock sub? I know that the sub vibrates EVERYTHING on the back panel where it sits. The brake light, cover, metal tensioners (i think) and the actual panel. I figure there is nothing I could do about that so i dont even care anymore because i cant really hear it too much from the front. The rear passengers could hear it loud and clear though.

I'm talking about a rattle that sounds like it's coming from the rear deck, where the sub-woofer is located, I guess. I'll drive around for a while with the radio off and see if I still hear the "ticking" (metal-to-metal) sound.

I found out my rattling is the 2 torsion bars that cross eachother are hitting each other. They are broke I guess and are loose, thats why in my case at least.
