my 99tl just got broken into last night. they only stole my cds, like 120 of them and destroyed my front tweeter while trying to remove it. its most likely a stupid college student or something. whats funny is that they left my three tennis raquets and my sub for which i am semi happy. anyways, i read before that another member had his car broken into also, so i feel you man. this sucks. so beware, dont park your car in ghetto places guys when you got lots of valuables expensive things in there.

Be happy you didn't get your HID ripped out. How did they break in? Broke a window? And you should know you shouldn't leave anything valueable out (radar detectors, wallets/purses, even bags) And why blame college students? They don't need an education to break into a car. I feel for you tho man. My advice is get your windows tint (harder to see in and harder for them to break windows open), get aftermarket alarm (our security system sucks), don't leave stuff out, and of course mind where you park (make sure its well lit or in a garage).

I feel for you. My 99 got broken into around a month ago. I'm still a little jumpy and don't leave anything visable inside anymore. I wish there was a way to get those guys off of the streets.

thanks for the comments guys. i am definately going to be more cautious from now on. and i said college students because i was parked at some appartments by the U of A campus where there were many parties all night. i just happened to leave that complex and go elsewhere. but yes, i am happy they didnt take my HIDs and such.
