So, I finally get the bad news from my mechanic.

So, I bought a 2003 ABP TL-S A-Spec from a used car dealership here in my town last year. It had about 93k km's (58k miles) on it. And over the passed few weeks my transmission has started to slip when shifting into gears. I had it checked out by my mechanic and it is now confirmed that I need a new transmission in my car. He did find it strange that I haven't gotten any CEL's yet though. The car currently has 129k on it and is not covered by Acura's extended warranty on the transmissions.

Has anyone here had any luck with Acura Canada giving them a good will transmission?

Only way to find out is to bring it to the dealer.

I wouldn't count on the dealer giving away anything for free, but remember to be nice and try to work something out. dont just go in pissed off and such (not saying you would)
