so after i changed my brakes....

my vsa light comes on in the morning!!! anyone else have this same problem? the check engine light is on as well. before i changed my brakes, my check engine light would go on and off, but after i had em changed, the vsa light goes on and off sometimes, and check engine light stays on . any insights?

go get the codes read from an auto store.

they will tell you a lot more than we can with your vague post.
Once you have the codes, post them here and we can help further.

so the vsa light has nothing to do with the braking system???

it does, but I'm unfamiliar with the 2nd gen and their quirks.

first thing, I would do is get the codes read to help diagnose.
2nd, i would go back over your brake job to see any sensors are disconnected.

Does the ABS light came on too with VSA? If you just handled the brakes or in that area you could damaged the ABS Sensor cable somehow, But that would trigger the ABS light too.

changing the brakes had/has nothing to do with the CEL/VSA light being on. Get the codes read so we can help you better.
