Snow brush and scratches

What do you guys use to brush snow off the body of the car? One can find snow brushes everywhere but are there better brushes that would not put swirls/scratches on the paint?
I like the clean the hood and roof etc and do see light scratch marks on the dark paint. It is a bit too cold to use the hands or mitts.

Oxo makes a large wash brush that would be suitable for that purpose.

Does it really make that much of a difference? I've always had grayish cars so it never mattered until now. I would say get yourself a good pair of Swany gloves and just use them. I used to wipe off the snow on my car when I went skiing with them because I was lazy. They're good gloves. Wow, I sooooo did not answer your question........

My cars are in the garage at home. When they do get snow on them, I brush the snow off the glass and for the rest of the car, I use the brush to get the top layer of snow off. I don't go all the way down to the body. The brush will put in those small scratches.

Use a car wash mitt to clear off the hood and painted areas. I'll be relegating my microfiber mitt to snow cleaning over the winter and use my chenille one to wash the salt and crud(shudder) off the car.
