Smooth idle?

If the "loping" motion is a slight forward movement when your idling, in drive, with your foot on the brake, it's your air conditioning compressor clicking cycling on/off.
The engine compensates for the compressor's load by increasing the idle speed. I have noted that my brake pedal gives a little (pedal falls); I'm not sure why (vacuum change?)...

Well, in warmer climates, your car will run more smooth, as the engine warms, especially...usually when the A/C complressor is on, it may run a drop rough, due to the added stress on the engine. Same thing applies to the winter time...the engine almost always runs a drop more rough(lil more vibration on the steering wheel than usual) than any other time of the year.
