i was thinkin about maybe just throwin some tint on em maybe like 45% but i wonder of after awile exposure to the elements may mess it up after all tint is always done on the inside of the window and never sees anything bad...but maybe after awile it may peel or bubble up and tint is so damn hard to remove i'll have to do some more research but usin tint on em is worth a shot......

i guess that's a good idea

but wouldn't the tint reduce the light output? as in the light wouldn't be as bright b/c of the tint?

A-spec headlight is not smoked, it's blacked out. The chrome parts are painted black, thus blacked out headlights. Smoke refers to the painting/tinting of the lens. You'd see them done on tails, but rarely not headlights. Although tinted headlight / headlight cover was the rage in the 80's...

you gotta open up your headlights. i used the oven method. you can find that process in the diy secton. when you pry the headlights apart... its 2 pieces. one chrome piece comes out with the front of the headlight and u can inscrew it and take it apart, exposing the chromew part. when you do that you can paint it. just use some primer and paint it and put it back together. it was pretty easy. just make sure you dont use the primer that you have to sand.
