small rip in leather (picture)

aight i just discovered this a while ago...this is on the drivers side seat on the left....that's the exact spot where my butt touches just before i get in the car....i think it's cuz of the way i sit in it....rather than sit directly into the seat i rub against the backrest of the seat first and then slide down to my seat.....
that blue tint there in the leather is cuz of all the different jeans i wear hahaah
anyway i think it's under warrenty...so they should change it...i think....i'll keep u guys posted...

from the pic, i looks like you are talking about the vinyl part of the seat. That can usually be repaired by a pro to be virtually unrecognizable when its finished. Of course, if the dealer would put on a whole new seat skin for free that would be even better, but i would bet you if they do agree to fix it, they will call in the seat repair pro rather than replace the skin.

My drivers side seat has the exact same cracks in the exact same place...the vinyl is also peeling off the front of the seat.

Too lazy to have it fixed on warranty...I'll probably wait until the last day

Yeah, actually when done right by a pro, the liquid vinyl repair comes out perfect. the made for tv version isnt exactly the same, mostly whats missing is the pro to do it. its all about the technique.

well isn't that special. i have a 2000 tl with the exact same rip in the same spot. i figured it was mostly my fault due to lower the car with h&r sport springs i have to slide into the bad boy. let me know if the dealer fixes it for free. i have 12000 more miles before my warranty runs out.
