Silk Spyder Body Kit

Silk Spyder Body Kit
Has anyone ever heard of this? I've seen it in a few online shops, but I've never even seen anyone in this forum even mention it. Is it because it's so bad looking? I personally like it's aggressive look, just curious to see what you guys think.

IMO...That kit is like showing up to a black tie event in a light blue polyester suit with a ruffled shirt...
Not very "VIP"... Extremely "ricey"
Also...you can't run factory fogs with it

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I was just curious to see what everyone had to say about this body kit, as I've never even seen it around the forums. And hey, maybe there is a little rice in my veins, I can't help it. Still doesn't necessarily mean I'm going to buy the kit though.

Theres no reason for anyone to buy an aftermarket bodykit for the TL when the OEM lipkit is the best looking lipkit made.
Body kits were big back when fast and furious 1 came out, now its all about OEM+
EDIT: Personally OEM+ is the only way to go

Dont mean to thread jack but how do u guys feel about the WW kit? I've seen a few folks with that set up and it doesn't look bad...I'm actually looking to get one myself. OEM are so hard to find...and if someone does have one they seem to want a grip for it.

It's your car, do what you want with it. I'll be the first to admit that I do have that bodykit... but I also have a 6spd + SC to back it up.
Our 2g TLs are not as luxurious as they use to be... just think about it... my car is 7 years old as an 03. Everyone has the famous oem lipkit, but its not for me.
Also an idea if you to run that bodykit is paint your center hood black, along with the bottom of the bumper... extremely agressive. Along with my 4pot rotoras, sc w/ custom intake and a 6spd tranny definatly changes things up for the tl.

Lol I'll go take one right now, but my paint is terrible right now.
Here is my thread on my 6spd swap.

Well it's 10:30pm in nyc. I moved to a garageless lightless house, but you get the idea. I run the oem spoiler as well, not the lip one posted on the website. And I have no idea what ugly muffler the pics have, but I have tanabes that are pretty much flush (cut/welded) I have it resonated as well, for negative drone.
Click on the pics, it blows up. I had other pics on my phone, but I tried to move it onto my computer and it disappeared =/

IT IS A RICE ROCKET LUL. That's the humor behind it. We have a whole bunch of ricers in NYC, so it isn't that unnatural here. The only thing I don't like is the civics with fart cannon, broken bodykits, and 200k mile engines that never see oil changes. I treat my car quite well as I want it to last as long as possible... But when I hit 24years old, I'm gunna get that oem kit just like the rest of you. I can fit that ricer stereotype right now so might as well make it last =D

I don't have any rep lol. I only joined this forum to get help with my problems/mods and that's pretty much all I do. This car doesn't go to shows or meets and is pretty much a daily driver with some poof. Plus, if you look at the age of the people who post bodykit questions, THEY'RE ALL 18... and I had mine installed when i was 19. All of the kids who watched fast and furious (I) think they're nasty street racers... and to back it up. I got the Wii Wheel for mario kart!
