Hi all! I have been browsing the car market for a vehicle to replace my 1993 honda accord and stumbled across the acura tsx. While it seems like a great car, the car that really caught my eye at the dealership was the tl! It seems like right now is a great time to buy, with the new 04's coming out soon, good deals are out there. Any advice and recommendations? Are you loving your tl's or having problems? I am a thirty something about ready to start a family, and i think the car is sporty, yet roomie enough for rug rats. Do you agree????

 

I'm in my early 30's and I'm soon to have kids. I am loving my TL. Go for the Type-S. My wife said 4 door. I said sporty. So hence TL Type-S was the perfect fit.

 

yea... I love my TL to death, and wouldn't trade it for any other vehicle. What I would do is wait for a few months, let the '04s come out, check those out, and if you dont like them, theres certain to be some good last minute deals to get the rest of the '03s off the dealers lots. But yes, I'm VERY happy with my TL.

Oh, and I'm 18 (turning 19 July 4th) and most definately without kids!

 

I'm 23 and bought my 03 TLP this past February. I love the car, it rides well, well equipped, and just performs up to my expectations. I also have a blown 98 cobra...but that's a different story. Go with the TL, you'll love it. For the price, I couldn't find a better deal.

 

The TL is a great car for the $. It has 4 doors and a pretty good sized trunk, so you should be able to fit all your junk.

If you can spring for the Type-S , I highly recommend it. 35 HP is a lot for only about 2G's, and you won't be dissapointed with the power when you need to merge onto a highway, etc.

The TSX is also really nice, but considerably smaller and I'm sure you won't get anywhere the type of deal you would on the TL.

Do your homework and shop around. You should be able to get an 03 TL-S w/o NAVI for under 29G's and a TL-P for no more than $27,000.

Besides the TL, the Honda & Mazda were the nicest of the bunch but I felt the combo of HP and Luxury added up to the TL-S.
