Short in headlight?

I went out to a free concert on Thursday night and a friend told me I had a headlight out. I looked at it and it was out. I took it to Gary Force Acura on Friday afternoon and it was working when I pulled up. Later that Friday driving to the lake I noticed it would go out, but if I turned off the lights and turned them back on then it would work for a while longer before it went out. It is the passenger side headlight. Anybody else ever have this problem?

BTW, I also found out that Gary Force Acura charges $130 for a new bulb and $20 for labor just to change the bulb. Does this sound about right? I wish my problem was just a burned out bulb, but I don't think it is or it wouldn't turn on at all.

Thanks.

i have the same problem with my passenger side aswell, i've been having that problem for like 4 mnonths untill i decided to swap the driver side bulb to the passenger to see wether it was my bulb or ballast, after the swap, my driver side goes out, so now im assuming its the bulb, i've just ordered new bulbs and waiting for it to come in.
