Springs vs ride

Comptechs, HnRs etc, etc, etc. they all ride about the same, and they all have a worse ride than stock! Who gives a rats ass! Lose 20% in ride and gain100% in looks! You want to drive your living room down the road then buy a Lincoln! I think they even have a option for a fireplace in the rear seat! LOL Next subject?

I have comptech springs, and i have to agree. The drop is pretty nice, but you sure do sacrifice ride quality on any road that is not newly paved.

while we are on it....

about sways:
i think sways are one of the best bang for the buck upgrades. even sways on stock tl-s suspension is a day and night difference. true it doesn't affect ride quality but it substantially increases handling characteristics. its easy and not too much money.

re comptech:
I have comptech bars, the quality is nothing to rave about. i have actually been in another members ride when the comptech sway bar snapped just pulling in a driveway. there a few people here who have had that happen. this poor guys tie rod and steering links were all damaged from it, maybe even the boot. if i didnt already own the comptech bars, i would have gone either neuspeed or eibach.

Well for starters this thread is over 5 years old. Tein was most likely not making springs for the TL then. H&R is the best spring made Period. End of discussion.
