Shifting from Reverse to Drive

After driving for a while (where tranny warms up), shifting from Reverse to Drive causes the vehicle to shudder. It is almost like it has a slight challenge shifting into the drive gear (like it wants to lurch forward a bit). Sometimes it's mild, other times it's moderate. Only occurs with this scenario, other times it shifts fine. Should I ignore this and continue on as usual, or should I have this looked at? Once transmission is warmed up, it is fairly easy to reproduce. Thanks!

mine does sometimes also, kinda jerks when you shift from reverse to drive - really its just something with these transmissions - and mine is the 4 speed.

I just consciously make sure the car is totally stopped before I shift it into drive

Long delays, or shudders, are signs of transmission problems. Take it to the dealer for inspection.

Edit: And the original poster is from GA. Whatever you do, do not go to Nalley Acura (not sure where Buford is). They'll tell you it needs blinker fluid replacement, they won't have a loaner, and it'll cost $4679.99 + tax. Worst dealer in the history of all dealers.

Yeah my tranny is that of the 4-speed as well. Just to make sure I can run it by the dealer. After the tranny heats up it is fairly easy to reproduce.

03CoupeV6, Buford is in North Gwinnett county just above Suwanee (it's where the Mall of Georgia is located). I take my car to Acura Carland in Duluth, have had nothing but excellent service thru them. Always deal with Chuck Cunningham whenever I go.
