Shifting Mirrors

Do both mirrors shift down when put in reverse, or just the right one?

Mine only shifts down on the right side, but I remember both of them shifting down?

Did mine malfunction? or am I just wrong?

Only the right mirror does it when the selector switch is in the middle.

Ha, ha... you're lucky the "gang" wasn't in the mood to mess with your mind... They could have told you, "Yep, both mirrors tilt when you go into reverse! Better take that car to your dealership."
