I don't like that plastic plate where the shifter is. I hear that they don't make any aftermarket ones, so does anybody have any ideas on how to make it look better?

 

"Wrap" it... like how i wrap the other wood-trim... but it's silver already... what color do u want to change it into?

 

black might be a good color. What other places carry the wrap, other than art stores? Do you think painting it might be another option?

 

You know, one thing I like about this "warping" is you can take it off when you are sick of it... and it does not damage the original paint or anything...
Painting the shift plate is not a bad idea and should be easy since it's quite small... but what if you are selling the car in the future and the buyer doesn't like it?

 

Hey Chien, what are those blue rings around your guage cluster? Is it those flexible neon tubes?
