Shift Gate Letters Lighted? Question?

Shift Gate Letters Lighted? Question?
I just got a 03 TL-P and driving tonight I noticed the letters by the shift gate are not illuminated. Do I have a broken bulb or is there no illumination built into it- Thanks

there should be lumination on the letter itself but nothing will light up as you select certain gear (other than original degree of illumination)

when you go in for repair tell them that you have the moonroof rattle ..... this way you won't have to come back for that one ;o)

I just give it a smack and it starts working again.... It's annoying though that a little tap will make it work.

Anyone Know How To Fix It?
Thanks Black TL , I tried the "smack" technique but no luck.

Does anyone know how to fix it?

Tell them that the seats sqeeks and the subwoofer rattles also.
