Question Sheeting or Beading?

Please do not smash me. This may seem like a dumb question.
I have a 2003 TL NBP I bought a couple of months ago. I waxed it a couple weeks ago with Zymol(first time using product). Since then after I wash and rinse, the water does a sheeting action instead of a beading action. Whenever I waxed any of my other cars over the years, the water has always had a beading action.

Does it matter if the water beads up or has sheeting action?

nope, as long the water gets off the pannels. Zymol is a good product.

what pisses me off is when I spend 3 hours waxing and then it rains the following day ..... the water beads .... I don't drive it .... the beads dry and leave small circles of dirt ;o( DAMN!!!

My Dad's always joked with me saying that counties in a drought need to hire me to come out there and wash my car...because sure enough, it WILL rain the next day.

I have a 90%+ success rate of bringing rain after I wash my car, seriously.

you definitely want sheeting action, but the sheets of water have to sort of slide off the car, not sit there...

Something is definitely wrong.

Zymol should definitely bead not sheet. I have yet to see many products that sheet water. There was one in an infomercial, Durashine, but after smelling it at a local store I put it back on the shelf. Loaded with petroleum-based stuff. Nasty stuff.

I say Zymol your car again and then pour some water on your hood and see if it beads this time. It is possible that the Zymol you bought either wasn't shaken up well or it went bad and lost it's bonding properties.
