Which Service Schedule to follow ???

I am in the NY metro area. Which service schedule should i follow ? The manual has two plans, one that starts the first service in 3750 mi and the other starts 7500 miles.

recommend using the one starting at 3750 because they consider area around here severe because of hot and cold temps as well as driving in bumper to bumper traffic
