service required for 90k?
I no longer own a 2g TL-S. I gave it to my sister 2 yrs ago and now currently i'm driving a 3g TL-S. Since 2g TL-s is no longer my vehicle, i don't pay attention to any of the services and what not. My sister who resides in a different state called me the other day asking what type of services she has to get. Last time i drove my 2nd g TL, all i did was the basic oil change, trans oil change, and emission and that was at 40K. What type of service she should get at 90K? She went to a local shop and they told her she has to get a engine filter which would cost $30 and some other filter for the AC. Not sure what they are talking about. Feedbacks?
don't know what they mean by "engine filter" but by AC filter they probably mean the cabin air filter...easy to change yourself. you are soon going to be due for the timing belt change (105k) but depending on the age of the car you may want to get that out of the way early. if it hasn't yet been done do a brake fluid flush and change the coolant as well...maybe power steering fluid?
that would be a normal engine air filter and the seperate cabin air filter
