Service Question????

I have an '03 TL-S with 10,034 miles. My service light just went on. Does anyone know what type of service is needed at this milage. Do I need to go or can I just clear error and go on with my life. I tried to call the dealership to find out, but they said "they have to assess the job first" (meaning they want to rip me off). What do you guys think??

Your owners manual describes the maint recommended per interval.
I personally use that as a guide for when I need to perform certain maint functions. I find it better and more cost effective than the stealership.

are you talking the checkengine light or the Maintanance required light?

If its the main req light it means Nothing. Its a dummy light thats supposed to be reset every oil change and be a reminder when to change oil

It's the maint..light. I don't get oil changes at Acura, I go to a friend who works at a local quick lube. So you guys think the light is about an oil change reminder? Cause if thats the case I will just reset the light. I heard that to reset the light I press select and the other button (both to left of the steering wheel, I forget the name of the other button) and start the car, that should reset it.

its ONLY a dummy light. nothig to worry about. There is more abou it in your manual.

you hold the trip and reset buttons in THEN while holding them in turn the key to the run position (2 clicks on the key) and KEEP holding the 2 buttons in till the light turns off (about 10 seconds) if you turn the key and then push the buttons in you will mess with the outside temp readout
