Post SEMA International Import Show in Southern Cali

Anybody else going to the SEMA show this coming weekend (2/9-2/11) at Long Beach Convention Center. Us Accord owners from SHO are organizing a pre-meet in Monterey Park on Saturday so that we could caravan down to the show. If anybody else is interested in joining the meet, I'll post details here. The show will primarily be manufacturers showcasing their upcoming products for this year to the consumers. (There was a SEMA show in Las Vegas back in November which was primarily for vendors). I believe Comptech will have a booth, among many others.

I'm not sure how it'll compare - I guess you could look at it this way . . . the one in Vegas was on for 5 days while the one in LBC will only be 3 days. But the way I look at it any show that last more than a single day is big enough.

This is the best way to see what products will be coming out, instead of having to wait for your local shop to stock it, learn about it online, or a magazine. We're also hoping to show some force in numbers and approach some vendors that seemingly have forgotten about our market segment (Honda/Acura V6's). We have several people coming from Northern Cali going to the show with us, simply because they know how important this event is.

If any of you So Cal TL/CL owners are interested, speak up. You're all welcome to join us.

Just a reminder....

there is a police station a couple of blocks away from the convention center in LBC. Don't be speeding too much.

Question

Are they still going to have their big show in November in Vegas? A friend and I were thinking of flying out to check it out.

The SEMA in November are primarily for industry people (distributors, press, shops, etc). . . the one this weekend is primarily for the consumers. Yeah, they'll have the SEMA on November still.

So does this mean nobody here wants to go down to the SEMA show . . . oh well. I'll post pics, but you'd have to forgive me if the pics pertain mostly to Accords .

Sorry, it took so long to post pics from the SEMA IAS show . . . but here they are. Hope you guys enjoy. The blue TL should look familiar. I had more pics, but they turned out blurry.
