Ok, so i have a 2002 TL-S, has 134k on the clock, runs like a champ. I now reside in CA, bought the car last year when i was in TX heading to NY, no emissions requirements etc in TX.

Question is, i don't think ii'll have a problem passing emissions since the car is all stock, stock exhaust, stock intake etc. but my roommate mentioned i don't have a smog pump. WTF?? Do i need this, do Acura's burn clean enough not to need it, is this something cheap i can buy and slap on?

My goal is to unload it before thanksgiving and was going monday to get the emission's paper saying it passed, but now not sure about the smog pump deal?

A. I am going to ask $11,500 for the car as is, don't feel like taking out the system etc.

B. My roommate is not an idiot as i definitly know there are devices out there, they are even on CA motorcycles because we had a board member ? what the device was.
