Exclamation Secret color settings in the Navi

Does anyone know how to get to the secret setup screens hidden in the NAVI. Somone told me its a combination of buttons pressed for a specified period of time but I don't remember what they were and I can't get it to work. I've seen pictures of the screens so I think thay are real.

The color options are located in the factory diagnostics screen. To get to it, once the system is first powered up, press the OK on the disclaimer. When you see the next screen (menu screen), press *and hold in this order* the MENU, the MAP/GUIDE and the CANCEL buttons for approx 5-10 seconds. The diagnostics menu will come up and one of the options has to do with display color. Be forewarned though that no one has yet to figure out how to get the colors to "stick." That is, once the car is shut off, the system reverts back to the factory default colors.

Do a search in the forums and you'll see lots of previous postings regarding the diagnostic screens in the navi. I know there has been extensive discussions on it....

Hey man it's not that I didn't believe you, I tried exactly what you said and it didn't work for me. Based on the previous message, I have to hit anf hold menu first , then map and cancel last. I'll try that next time. I didn't want to bother you so much. Take it easy alright.
