Seatbelt Stuck
My passenger-side seatbelt is stuck. It can't be pulled out; if I pull really hard it clicks and I do get some slack, but then it retracts when I let go. I'm afraid to just pull the hell out of it for fear I will strip some gears or something in there, and permanently damage it. I was thinking of going to the dealership for this, thinking that a non-functioning seatbelt is not good press for them, but I would like to avoid making that trip if at all possible.
Any advice or diagrams of how to remove the cover would be appreciated.

there is a known problem with the seat belt retractor
Normally you make sure the belt is not twisted anywhere and everything looks ok, then take it to the dealer
Most get slow retraction of driver side belt, because it gets more use
Takes 4-5 days to get the needed part, not something they stock
Its covered by a special warranty to 10 years 150k miles
Call acura and register as the owner,(need VIN) report the problem, then ask if any extended warranty you need to know about--they will confirm this info
1-800-382-2238x5
By law the dealer has to write a regular work order and 1- 1.5 hour diagnosis on any problem
once its found to be warranty you pay nothing
You are correct- acura doesnt like bad press and has been taking care of SRS probs and seatbelts with no hassle, even salvage title cars!
