seatbelt buckle position

This is not new of course, but I wonder anyone notice their buckle is closer to the console than passenger side? The tech told me he did adjustment on the seat frame for the squeak noise way back. My guess is he bent the frame where the buckle connects to the frame.

Has anyone's seat got adjusted that way? By messing with the sear frame.

I know but that's nothing I can do now. Since he adjusted the seat frame, the noise is only there when temp is cold. I just worry if the buckle will hold in case of an accident.
