Question Seatback heater..in-car repair possible?

My driver side seatback heater has been out for a few years now (the seat portion works fine).
I know that to get at the seat element, the whole seat needs to be removed.
However, is it possible to repair the seatback heater in car?
I was wondering if I could remove the rear cover and then peal back the seat cover to get at it.

Thanks!

you still need to remove the hog ring clamps that attach the leather to the seat- those are tucked into the seam or the seat panels iirc

I just repaired mine- it would be awfully difficult, probl. impossible- Why would you want to do that? There are just 4 bolts & 2 connectors to deal with in order to remove it. Then you can set the entire seat on a table and work on it. Much easier on the back. It's heavy though so get some help if possible. It's easy to scratch the plastic threshold area going out/in.
