Unhappy Scratched my Steering Wheel

Damn it. I was putting on my Club Steering Wheel Lock and I accidentally rubbed it against my steering wheel. Made two tiny nicks (about the size of the star above the #8 on your computer keyboard) right next to each other under the Acura emblem. Is that part vinyl? Anyways, that layer came off and the two nicks are black in color and my steering wheel is the parchment color. My car is the '03 TL. I want to touch up the two nicks with some sort of paint that will match the original color closely. I went to this site... http://www.leatherrepairkits.com/honda_acura.htm and ordered the mild beige color flex. Do you guys think that the colors will match? It seems a little darker than the Acura parchment color. Do you guys know of any other ways to fix this? Thanks!

best way is to get a steering wheel replacement..a lot of them are sold on ebay for $30-$40 .... if you have some serious $$$, go for the wood replacement...they are real nice but expensive.

I think he's talking about the airbag, not the steering wheel.

I didn't think people used the club still. Good story, my dad's co- worker came out and his new car was gone and the club was in his parking spot. LOL.

I have the AutoLock Pro, but it is a pain in the ass to put on and take off at night. Even when I turn on the map lights, I could barely see the brake. Takes me an average of 30 seconds to put the AutoLock Pro on and another 30 seconds to take it off. It's almost like if I have to struggle with it everytime I put it or take it off.

i use Leatherique.com for my leather dye matching needs. Never tried it on vinyl but they color match perfectly if you send them a swatch.

There is a gentleman named George over there that took over the family run business his dad started. He is very nice and very helpful. you will need to send him a small swatch of vinyl but you can probably get a piece under the dash if you remove the plastic piece under the steering wheel.
