Also averaging 3 dealers...IMO Honda dealers suck!

(need my car badly.. miss driving.. sitting here posting messages.. waiting for the phone call from my dealer.. phone ringing. brb.. just my gf. not the dealer.. so back to what i was saying)

Let me tell you the story about this one time we went to buy a car. It was a sunny sunday morning, and me my mom dad and brother, we went to the mercades dealer next to where we live to look at a car, hmm.. they treated us like shit because we weren't like dressed up, because we really didn't think about going there that day, we were out driving around, and we dicided to go see a clk. well.. they
didn't treat us well, (basically kicked us out.) so we went to the other mercades dealer like a couple miles away, and that's how my brother got his car. had it for a year already with only like 2K miles on it. fool never drives it. Loves it more than his life.
A cat was walking on it once, man, he was running after the cat like there was no tomorrow. ;-) But the dealer treats him real nice, anytime he wants something when he goes there they wash his car, they give him loaner cars all the time, S500s and everything. You know you gotta get to be friends with them. He got to test drive a S55, well he made me one advice, don't ever drive that car unless you are willing to sell your house, and sleep in that car. He said it was the best car he has ever driven, and he has driven good cars. ;-)


Dealers could be very nice, or a pain in the ass.. well, the acura dealer i am with, is killing me..

Believe it or not, mine gets a 10 in all categories. These are the nicest, most helpful people in the car dealer industry that I have met...they WANT me to do stuff to the car!

That's unfortunate. Unfortunately, it's not only MB, but even Honda dealers will do that shit too! I was in the same situation but at a Nissan dealer cuz I was like wearing shorts and slippers. I still bought the Maxima but I know what you mean. Fortunately, I never experienced that from a MB, BMW or Lexus dealer. Personally I think Lexus has the best Customer Service, IMO.

Montclair Acura dealers suck.

I went in to have the muffler attachment put back on because it fell off due to heavy weight in the back. At first he said it can't be done without even looking at the damn piece.

I had to catch an attitude before he decided to look at it. Then he changed his mind and said that it can be done. What an asshole!

I would give them a 4.

Service=1.......I have brought my TL in many times and the problems(rattlin' interior and creaking in the back) were never solved. They also tried to charge me over 650 bucks to install comptech springs. I have much more complaints but it only gets me mad to even think about it. But still love my car.

Ok, here the story on the sales. My salesman is a deceiving bastard. We agreed on the price of 29,200 with everything, everything meaning dest also. Then when it came time to sign the papers, there was an extra 455 for dest. He gave me a million excuses, he's like oh we gotta charge you dest. and all. I was like u told me it was included in the 29,200. So he gave me the run around. I still bought from the asshole and asked him to give me a free sunroof visor, which costed them almost nothing anyways. SOrry for the long post, had to vent! Any new buyers beware of this scam!

every dept 10, they are excellent in every manner, recommend to anyone within 50 mile radius, close to garden state plaza, nj parkway, ny thruway, route 17, route 4, route 80 etc. they charge a little more than independent shops but give you gifts(tshirts, ice scrapers, hats, teddy bears) wash my car every time and even for just oil changes. The only bad experience I had whlie shopping for a new car was at the BMW place. Very high pressure. He told me I couldn't test drive a car unless I was going to buy today, so I walked.

Lehigh Valley Acura, Allentown, PA gets a solid 10+ for service and would like to add that their sister dealership, LV Honda gets the same 10+. Have bought for myself and thru family members a total of 9 vehicles from them and still have my first, an 88 Legend which is just too good to trade. Sales gets an 8 but just moved one of their great Service "Managers" to sales, so that gets a 10 also. I'm also appalled at some of the ratings get from other dealers. My experience with their service is that they charge nore but quality is unbeatable.

I hate Paragon Acura! We bought our TL from there and the sales guy was an A$$hole thinking he could charge me an arm and a leg because I was only 17. (i went there and bought it because we took back the deposit from another dealership and i was going to go there and put another deposit with them) He wouldn't negotiate with me at all. He didnt think I was serious until I gave him a price and put my deposit down on the table. Anyway, that experience sucked.

Their service I thought was horrible. I gave them my car and they guy took it to start fixing my moonroof rattle and when he was done, it still rattled and when he brought my car to me, he peeled out and when he stopped, he jammed the tranny into park. I reported that and they apologized.

In Long Island, Rallye Acura was great. I always go in and talk to Brian (sales). He is a cool guy. Steve (service) isn't a prick like other dealerships and treats me the same way he would treat my dad. So, Paragon Acura gets a 4 for Sales and a 3 for Service.
Rallye gets a 9-10 for both.

service 1, i stood in line 15 minutes while the lady talked to some one about places too eat, when i asked toget my oil changed she said she could not do it for a week
when i called the service mgr he said he could not take my word over his own employee!
needless to say i pay about 10 percent more to go to rick hendrick honda b/c the treat you some what better i give them a 6
my previous car was a toyota 4runner

Salesman - 9 - John Tripoli, no pressure, no hassle test driving. He didn't go along. Said bring it back when I was through. He recommended a few roads to "open it up" on, but to watchout for radar traps.

Finance - 0 - No personality. I think he was pissed because I had already financed through my credit union.

Service - 8 - So far, so good. No hassles there either. You have to reserve a Teg if you need a loaner car. They matched other Acura dealer prices for service too.
