Saying Hello
So I've been lurking the Acurazine boards for a while now, hoping to add a 4G TL-SHAWD to my car resume within the next year or so. As it turns out, one day I was surfing the net @ work looking at new cars. I left at the end of the day to go home and I get in a wreck (not my fault) that totals my black Camaro.
Right away I'm thinking, "Crap. Now what am I going to do?" As it turns out, my car was worth more than I thought it was, I got the insurance check and I am now the proud owner of a White Diamond Pearl 2003 TL Type-S as of today. It's not the 4G I was hoping for a year from now, but it is serving me quite well in the interim.
I've driven V6's before, but none as smooth as this one. And I'm a sucker for comfortable leather seats. Thank God their nothing like the rock hard ones in BMW's.
Hello to all. Happy to be aboard.

welcome
first thing to do is register with acura and see if there are any open recalls- some 03 had a timing belt issue
And if you are part of the trans extended warranty cars- mid 03 was a cutoff
1-800-382-2238 x5 gets a human- register as a new owner and ask for recall and history check
congrats!!

I'd love to, but I haven't figured out how to post photos. I see the URL option but they are saved to my computer, not on a website. Can you post photos that aren't loaded to a website?
Transmission & timing belt have already been replaced so it's in tip top shape. I touched up the rock chips in the hood today and conditioned the leather inside. Filled it with 93 octane this morning and set the memory seat. I've only had it for two days and I'm already in love. I only wish the back seat folded down...
