SAT radio just went out
Hey, I hope some of yall could help me. I was driving home last night and was going through a shopping center. I went over a few speed bumps not too too fast, prob around 10 miles. Anyways when i went over the last one my SAT radio just shut off. Not sure what happened. Radio and everything else works. I checked all the connections to the SAT radio and the connections under the steering column where they used that cigarette lighter connection to connect it to the radio. Now im not sure if thats where the power for tha SAT radio comes from or what. Could some of yall help me with what the problem could be?
Could it be a fuse or something. I mean nothing else in the car is without power, radio or anything else.
If its a fuse, which do yall think I should check?
The speed bumps are not those big ones that slam ur car down if u go over it too fast. its one of those small ones.
Thanks Guys

It all depends- is it an aftermarket satellite radio, or the one that comes with the car (post 2004 model)? If it's aftermarket, it might just be a loose power wire. Does the display on the satellite radio light up? If it does, it might be just a loose antenna wire. Also, if it were a loose antenna wire, a message 'no signal' should be on the display.

Yes, its aftermarket. its in the sunglass holder. I posted pics b4. But nothing comes on. It doesnt even light-up. Nothing at all. Not sure where to search for the power source except for under the sterring column where they connected the cigarette looking connection.

Take it back to the installer to find the interrupted power supply- it might take a long time for you to figure it out (since you didn't wire it initially), and it might be worth the small cost for them to detect it for you.
