Rubbing help!!

If I have some 18" rims with an offset of 40mm how bad will it be? Is there anything that can be done??
I have a killer deal on the table for some TE-37's but they are coming off a Maxima w/an offset of 40mm.

Anyone?

What's the width of the rim? You are going to rub for sure with +40 offset. You might want to try getting 215/45 tires. Good luck.

Maybe you could get a shop to shave off a little. My friend got some Anteras and he had them shave it from +45 to +47.
