Royal Purple

Has anyone ever tried royal purple synthetic in their car?

I have the 5W30 in it now with a K&N filter.. and so far I really like it.
Its really smooth and gaz millage was really good on my last trip to Montreal and back (About 12km/litre..)...

DO NOT RUN ROYAL PURPLE. It will sludge your engine up and its a waste of money. It's another false advertising again oil.

On proven tests by many other clubs this has been proven.

Intersting.....
Engine sludge IMO.. is a result of poor maintenance.. It is the accumulation of dirt (after the oil filter is cloged) and the breakdown of conventional petrolium oils due to to overheating or too many hot to cold cycles.
If you let your oil get jet black, dont change filters - or use good filters- and just disregard proper maitenance ... no oil is going to survive that kind of treatment. Then sludge will result.
If Royal Purple is as bad as you imply.. then it might break down in a short period of time and get very dirty... We shall see.
