Rotors Warping?

Rotors Warping?
I was driving out to Grand Junction, CO from Denver, CO last week. I was on the Interstate for a good 50 - 60 miles or so and was coming out of the Eishenhower Tunnel where it begins a 6 degree decent. When I first started to apply the brakes (the brakes had not been touched since I left the suburbs so they were cool) I noticed a mild to moderate shudder. I was braking and slowing down from 80 mph to around 70 mph. And no I wasn't riding the brakes. I applied them for the first time in over one hour's driving when I came out the other side of the tunnel so they were cold. I didn't apply that much pressure to the brakes and thought it odd that I should get any shudder at all (other then if the anti-lock kicked in, which it didn't). At this point I only notice the shudder when braking from 80 mph or above. Now on the way back home, I notice the shudder is now happening when I brake from 70 mph. Is this the beginning of my rotors beginning to warp?
I have 7000 miles on my 7 months old 2002 TL-S. 80% of the milkes so far are city driving and I am not hard on the brakes at all. I drove my 91 Stealth RT/TT (with 57K miles and original rotors that have never been turned!) and made a similar trip though the Eisenhower Tunnel and its brakes didn't shudder at all! I think my rotors on the TL-S will be completely warped and need replacement within the next 2000 - 3000 miles.
First the tranny synchros were replaced at 1500 miles and now the brakes (I think) are going. I am getting rid of this POS pretty darn soon I believe.
Anyone have a similar experience with their brakes/rotors? Any thoughts or opinions on this issue?
Thanks!

Happened to me at about 20000 miles of mostly highway driving. The rotors were resurfaced free of charge. The rep at my dealership said there had been a tech. service bulletin about the problem (indicating it's pretty common).
I had the same problem with my Accord V6 but not until 90000 miles. At 20000 miles, it's ridiculous. At 7500, it's pathetic.
