rotors/pads

Hi guys, I am thinking about to get a new set of rotors and pads for my 03TLS, which brand would you recommend? Rotors: Rotora Slotted or Irotors Drilled Slotted? Pads: EBC Greenstuff or Axxis Ultimate? Thanks in advance.

I dont think you'll be able to tell the difference between the Rotora Slotted or Irotors Drilled Slotted performance wise unless you really abuse your brakes, so I would get whichever you find at the best price. If you are going to really work the brakes hard repeatedly, the drilled rotors will tend to cool slightly better than the slotted only.

As far as the pads go, there are some that swear by Axxis and some that swear by EBC Greenstuff. From the feed back on this forum, the Axxis pads seam to give off more brake dust so I would go for the EBC, although I have the Axxis MM now and am very pleased with their performance. EBCs are about 69 from TireRack.

I have the irotors with the Axxis MM and I love them. The Axxis does give off a lot of brake dust, but if you wax your wheels, the dust doesn't stick as much.

I knew the Ultimates and Metal Masters dusted bad that is why I went with the Deluxe Plus. Not quite as good stopping power as the the Ultimates but I didn't want to have to clean my wheels every day. That would drive me crazy.
