Rolling fenders

While Im here Id like to get my fenders rolled. Does anyone know where I can get this done in south florida and how much?

Is it only the rears that get done?

pretty much it is only the rear because the front has no lip. however, it does have several metal tabs that help to keep the liner in place...if you really need to make room, you can remove the pins, relocate the liner so it is above the metal tabs, and then bend the tabs upward so it is as flush as possible.

you can roll the fenders if you want by calling tirerack and renting their haweka fender lip roller tool. i believe it's free to rent, but you have to put down a refundable deposit and pay for shipping both ways. they also give you a video and heatgun too.

Go to Miami Chassis, they rolled my fenders on my civic

There is a place RJ's Muffler Shop in College Point Queens. I saw a fender rolling tool hanging in their shop...might wanna give them a call 718-358-0764

Remember to heat down your fender before you bend it so you wont crack the paint... Thats what i did...

Just a quick question to anyone who knows....What are the adverse effects of rolling your fenders, because I've heard that it really should be avoided....

It bends the inner lip on your fender to more of a V shape instead of the L shape it has. It isnt something yu see rather it helps prevent your tires and rims from scraping the fender. You have to use a heat gun as to not crack the paint.
