Nice graphics job Kris.
I ran into the same problem today while driving to the beach.

You just gotta hate those "salted" roads.

WOW! Nice! Oddly enough, i'll challenge you. It's dark right now, but i'll take pics of my TL tomorow, mine's black, but it's so white from the salt. I couldn't find a carwash open since its like friggin -40 here. I'll clean it up tomorow after i take some pics. Let you know.

I didn't take pics, but the 3rd week in NYC we had some light snow and I was on the road w/ the salt trucks.. my TL at that time could have DEFINITELY competed and maybe topped those pics. My car was dirty before I left the house, took this girl I was seeing home, and came back to a white car (when I left it was dark emerald pearl)... ahh the price we pay for getting a$$. LOL

Noam

*grumble*

I feel your pain, Kris. Mine actually looks the same - if not WORSE (dark colours definitely show it!). Unfortunately, I'm going to hold off on getting it washed too since it was -32C out today (w/ windchill) + snowstorm tomorrow..... so I'll freeze the doors shut if I attempt any sort of cleaning!

Edit: Yep...guess all smileys still aren't up and workin'...

yo dont't worry too much about the salt, if you get it off within the week you'll be OK> It snowed here 3 days ago on Wednesday and the roads were full of salt till today so I couldnt get mine washed, then it SNOWED here today again! now we have like 6 more inches of snow so far and more to come... So I wont be able to wash mine for another 4 or 5 days. Crucial amounts of salt are gonna be on the road after this. Just let the salt dissipate off the roads for a few days then get a wash.

while you got salt problems, us duds down south got mosquitoes that literally DIG into our paint!

Cool point of View: FSTTY got that much salt on his car, now multiply that by 100,000cars that rode up and down that street...HOW FKN messed up is that. Your state just depleted their entire yearly supply of salf in one night!

i feel bad, cold or not, you should atleast hose down your car! better icy than salty!

Thumbs up Wash the Car

Found that the Mr. Clean Autowash system works perfect in winter. Follow the directions and the car will be cleaned..

Well we got the mosquitoes too BAD in the summer.

well i still havent got to wash it yet. we got a ton of snow after that pic, so alot more salt went on the road, but on the bright side alot of snow washed the car so its not as bad.
