Ridin on stockies for a week

Busted my right front wheel yesterday and bubbled the tire, got another ordered but heres a shot of it dropped on the factories

Lucky those are your "back up" rims, those are my current and only rims... FML =(.

i dont think the stock rims look bad, they are cooler than alot of other stock rims i see.

Really? Hmm, any recommendations? Also price range, I mean I'll be working ALL winter and stuff, saving most of my money so I should earn anywhere from 1k-3k cash by 2010 summer to spend on my TL.

Im sittin on Tein S. Techs i think i paid about $280 or so shipped and put em on & did the alignment myself so i saved a couple hundred on labor. With $3k u can drop it and get sum decent rims and tires and may have sum change left

yes, drop first!

If you use it as a DD and the roads arent all that great, go with Teins, Eibach, H&R- all about the same amount of drop.

If your roads are Hawaii smooth, go with F&F type 2 coilovers and put it on the ground..if my ride wasnt my daily transportation and I didnt have the family in it occasionally it would have coilovers...

you can find Eibach's for 205$ shipped online.

they give the lowest drop out of the above mentioned brands... 2.1" front and 1.6" rear

they ride great, (what im on)

may be picking up F2's soon so be on the lookout for mine in the black market even cheaper..

ps. to the OP. the stockies dont look bad on our cars... now the 02-03 stockies.

Word!! Id love to go lower on mine but mine is my DD and my family ride, my yr old daughter is in it everday and the roads around here suck ass!!!

^^ good to see priorities are in the right place though...

nothing pisses me off more then people driving around here with EG civics and tegs slammed on the ground with wheels and a fart can and a baby seat in the back looking at you like they wanna race.. .its like.. grow up man.. seriously...

Thanks for the help, I might look into Eibach for the lowest drop, mines a DD I don't have a family, but I have driven my sisters kid around before but the main point for me is in Ohio the roads suck ass.
