Reputable shop in S. Cali, to get fenders rolled

Rolling the fenders give me 10 times more wheels to choose from...

So where is a good reputable place to get fenders rolled??? preferably Orange County...

Are you talking about rolling fender or trimming/shaving the fender? If you want to trim or shave the fender, most of the wheel shops have machine that trims the fender. I got mine done at Action Auto Sports in Corona.

BTW, How do you like the H & R OE springs?

I am thinkin of getting one for the FRONT ONLY.

Why front only? that because after getting 18" wheels, my rear looks lowered w/o being lowered but my front needs to be droped a little to even the gaps. I have little more gap in the front than the rear

Do you feel a big difference in ride quality?
I had my old car which was Nissan Maxima lowered once and I hated because it was too bumpy. I had it lowered for 3 days and raised it back up.

Let me know.

if you want a shave you can go to www.sprewellracing.com .

i have done two cars there so far and have had no problems.

they charged me $100 which will included them flipflopping the front liner.

if you have an air compressor, airsaw and a stead hand, you can do it yourself for free.

I got mine done for FREE at the place where I bought my wheels which was Action Auto Sports. It took them about 15-20 min.

if you shave your fenders, you leave burrs, lil metal imperfections at the edge, plus you have to touch up the bear metal so that it doesnt rust, stuff like that....

true, but the guy files down the cut. you can spray a lil clearcoat if you don't want to take the time to touch it up with stock paint.

rolling fenders has it cons too...paint can chip around the arch if not heated prior and during the rolling, arch can be deformed if done incorrectly, etc. the angle (between the lip and fender) seems greater than 90 degrees, so the lips will have to be rolled back pretty far and thus increasing the chances of arch deformation.

if you wanna roll it yourself, rent the haweka fender lip roller from www.tirerack.com ...

personally, i think shaving is safer than rolling.

Stanman thanks for the good explanation and stuff, btw I do live really close to wheelwarehouse, and I went there, they said 40 dollars to do the rears, but i thought rolling was a better alternative but guess not, anyways Ill just get it done from wheelwarehouse since they have experience in doing this and its cheap also.

Rolling

Besides the fore mentioned problems with rolling, how would you roll the plastic bumper part of the fender well? Shaving would accomplish both I would think. My 2¢.

good point! and very important point at that since we are not talking about a small part of the bumper.
