I'm a relatively new Acura convert (previous 2 cars were Nissan Maxima SEs). Nonetheless, in the endless quest of academia, I've been up in Seattle for a while and have been taking my car to either Honda of Seattle or Acura of Bellevue for routine service (oil change, tranny flushes, etc.), and they've been pretty good.

Nonetheless, I was wondering if some of you in the Seattle area could recommend some good repair shops.

Specifically, I'm looking for either/or:

1. A good, reputable, honest repair shop for general work
2. A good, reputable shop to change the suspension

The reason why I ask for #2 is that the dealer wanted anywhere from $300-400 labor to do the suspension change (shocks and springs). To explore alternatives, I would like to know what good repair/performance shops are out there in Seattle, and what sort of pricing is involved. And also, I'd like to know who to ask for to do the work on my car.

I took my car to Autohound in Seattle. I had my passenger side door repainted due to vandalism. They did a good job even though they missed a spot. I didn't find out until 3days after picking up my car. They were happy to let me bring it back in and even pay for a rental for me.
