Question Replacing odometer

I want to replace my 99 odometer with the newer (stock) one that appears to glow blue and is therefore more easily visible in sunlight. Is this a simple unplug, plug and play task? Or will it be more difficult?

I never found a difference between the 99 odometer area with the 01-03. And none of the TL's odometer glow blue. Unless your talking about changing it to Blue LEDs.

also the only way it would 'glow' would be when it is backlite, which is usually at night when your headlights are on.
